Responsibilities Promote and sell memberships and services Give quality tours to potential new members according to their goals and interests Scan member cards and greet by name Build relationships and retain members Answer member questions in a prompt, professional, and friendly manner Attend paid trainings and meetings and learn new skills Work with a team to make a lasting difference in your community Light cleaning tasks: wash/fold towels, make coffee, stock cups and creamer, and make members feel valued and appreciated Be knowledgeable about program offerings and proactively look up accurate information online or through internal systems when needed Multitask in a fast‑paced environment while managing front desk responsibilities Participate in paid trainings and team meetings Perform light cleaning duties and help with hospitality tasks (making coffee, folding towels, stocking supplies) Support your team to create a positive and engaging environment Schedule will be approximately 10 to 29 hours per week depending on branch needs Requirements Positive outlook and experiences Friendly and team oriented Adaptable to changing situations Ability to manage multiple priorities Must be able to stand for long periods of timeProfessional customer service and communication skills Responsible for quality and accuracy Ability to learn new programs quickly Proficient with Microsoft Suite and web navigation Creative and innovative High school diploma or GED Bilingual helpful, but not required Additional Information EEO: The YMCA provides equal opportunity in employment to all employees and applicants for employment regardless of race, color, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, sex, disability, age, or veteran status Risk Management: Risk management and child abuse prevention is the responsibility of all staff and volunteers #J-18808-Ljbffr
