Education Specialist - Weitzman Education - Remote Position - Full Time

Job Overview The Weitzman Education Specialist works closely with the Weitzman Institute Education core and manages education interventions such as Weitzman ECHO, learning collaboratives, webinars, technical assistance, consultation, and other innovative interventions. The role focuses on health professions, continuing education, and system transformation, and involves needs analysis, development, design, implementation and evaluation for a diverse audience including residents, students, primary care providers, care team staff, and leaders in health care organizations. Responsibilities Project manage a variety of educational interventions at different planning stages. Collaborate with faculty to develop and improve didactics, case presentations, and other educational materials. Engage participants and build learning communities for interventions. Track and monitor operational data, including continuing education attendance, surveys, and other metrics. Analyze data and produce reports to support continual improvement. Utilize software to track learner, organization, faculty participation and manage educational materials. Support proposal development, grant writing, poster presentations, and publications. Assist with onboarding new learners, testing technology, and providing technical support. Develop engaging presentations for conferences and other venues. Coordinate cross‑Weitzman initiatives and support new education program development. Plan and facilitate faculty meetings, including curriculum planning, case review, and content development. Assist senior staff with grant development, reporting, and deliverable timelines. Create operational reports for external funders and support related deliverables. Produce marketing content with the Communications team, including eBlasts, newsletters, printed collateral, and webpage updates. Represent Weitzman Education at conferences as needed. Support leadership on accreditation efforts and maintain confidentiality of business information. Qualifications Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a health‑related field. 1–3 years of work experience, preferably in a health‑related field or with project support experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet‑related applications, survey software, and database software. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, communication, time‑management, and prioritization. Ability to juggle multiple tasks, work independently and meet deadlines, and recommend actions to enhance program success. Experience leveraging technology and business partners to deliver content. Excellent written and oral communication and problem‑solving skills. Current driver’s license and ability to travel in and out of state.
