As a Vice President, Product Manager on the Chase Zelle team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality payment solutions by guiding cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle. Together, we create safer, faster, and more accessible payment experiences.Job responsibilitiesDevelop a product strategy and vision that delivers value to customersManage discovery, execution, and market research to uncover customer needs and integrate them into the product roadmapOwn, maintain, and prioritize a product backlog that enables Product Owners to support the overall strategic roadmap and value propositionLead a team of Product Managers and Associates to execute on the product visionServe as a center of knowledge — maintain deep curiosity about product controls and monitoring, set the standard for the team's controls environment, and drive and strengthen the control frameworkManage key relationships — partner with engineering, architecture, product, control and compliance, and data analytics stakeholders to drive decision-makingCommunicate effectively and often — share strategy, roadmap, progress, and insights broadly and systematically; craft the narrative and cadence for different partner and stakeholder audiences; and explain the "why" behind your workSupport agile product delivery, including backlog grooming, launch and go-to-market, production support, and issue, defect, and prioritization resolutionMonitor performance against goals, scope implementation paths for needed enhancements, and create remediation plans when requiredCollaborate with cross-functional partners (e.g., Risk, Controls, Legal, Compliance) to ensure a strong risk and controls environmentRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domainDemonstrated experience managing and leading a team in a product environmentAdvanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analyticsProven ability to lead product life cycle activities, including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value managementAbility to build and maintain productive relationships with engineers and technical partners, and to translate customer and control needs into clear product delivery or technical requirementsExperience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functionsDemonstrated ability to build a robust partnership with the Quad (Product, Experience, and Technology / Architecture / Data & Analytics) to achieve superior resultsDemonstrated ability to drive change through influence and collaboration across a matrixed organization in a highly dynamic environmentPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsPrior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization and aligning individuals toward shared goalsDeep understanding of a risk and controls environment — including controls, compliance, and legal engagement — with stakeholders as key end users, plus experience rolling out mission-critical software to the fieldPassionate and vocal, balanced with a willingness to learn, collaborate, and work across all levels and backgroundsStructured thinker and effective communicator — concise and impactful, with excellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to prioritize a large book of work, meetings, team dynamics, and overall deliveryAbility to influence stakeholders with diverse points of view and maintain grounded, productive discussions, including with senior leadershipApplicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US.
