Our client, a leading enterprise organization in the financial technology sector, is seeking a Software Engineer 4 - Contingent to join their team. As a Software Engineer 4 - Contingent, you will be part of the IT department supporting multiple internal projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, proactive problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Software Engineer 4 - Contingent Location: Charlotte, NC Pay Range: $70/hr on W2 What´s the Job? Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex Pega applications with a focus on case management and workflow automation. Actively contribute to coding, system integration, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, product owners, and integration specialists to translate business needs into scalable solutions. Mentor junior team members through code reviews and technical guidance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Support cloud migration initiatives and optimize system performance across multiple applications. What´s Needed? 8+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years of hands-on Pega engineering expertise. Strong proficiency in Pega Case Management, system integrations (REST API, SOAP), and workflow automation. Experience with complex case lifecycle design, including stages, SLAs, and escalations. Proven ability to lead technical development efforts and mentor team members effectively.
