Global Demand Planner

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Demand Planner II to develop and manage 24-month demand forecasts for key product portfolios. The role involves collaborating across functions to optimize inventory, enhance forecast accuracy, and support Sales & Operations Planning processes in Bedford, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain 24-month demand plans for key product portfolios
Manage Sales & Operations Planning processes and facilitate demand review meetings
Analyze market trends, historical data, and business intelligence to create accurate forecasts
Optimize inventory levels and reduce excess and obsolescence risk
Partner with Product Management, Commercial, Finance, and Manufacturing teams

Requirements

Advanced degree with no prior experience, or bachelor's degree plus 2 years demand planning or supply chain experience
Proficiency in demand planning systems such as SAP, Forecast Pro, or Kinaxis
Advanced analytical skills with statistical modeling and forecasting expertise
Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
Experience with S&OP processes, inventory management, and cross-functional collaboration
Lean and continuous improvement methodology experience preferred
Life sciences, medical device, or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred

Compensation: $59,400–$89,000 base
