Business Development Manager

Our client, a global law firm, is seeking a Manager, Business Development, Regulatory. Location: Washington DC Schedule: Hybrid 3/2 About the role: The Business Development Manager will support the Firm’s global Tax practice, including controversy, litigation, planning, and transactional matters. This role drives strategic business development initiatives focused on new client acquisition, expansion of existing client relationships, inbound and outbound cross‑selling opportunities, and the development of high‑impact proposals, RFP responses, and other marketing and business development materials. Qualifications: Minimum of seven years of directly related experience in a law firm or professional services environment including one year of supervisory or leadership experience Bachelor degree is required Tax experience is a plus Strong proficiency in firm software, including InterAction, Foundation, and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to quickly learn new systems Current knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and business development strategies Experience managing annual budget processes Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Exceptional attention to detail, proofreading, and fact‑checking abilities Strong analytical, organizational, troubleshooting, and planning skills Proven leadership and team supervision experience Ability to implement firm policies and procedures effectively Professional demeanor with strong emotional intelligence and cultural awareness Ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels Ability to work independently and collaboratively in hybrid environments Proven discretion in handling confidential and sensitive matters Strong organizational, prioritization, and delegation skills Ability to exercise sound judgment and adapt to changing business needs Flexibility to travel and work extended hours as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr Diamond Personnel
