About the Role:
SWEET 2025 LLC is looking for a talented and passionate Cook to join our kitchen team in Sacramento, CA! This is a great opportunity to bring your culinary skills to a dynamic and growing food operation where quality and creativity are at the heart of everything we do. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food prep including chopping, measuring, and portioning ingredients
- Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs to kitchen management
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal service
- Properly store and label food items to minimize waste and ensure freshness
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cook, line cook, or prep cook preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, knife skills, and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food safety standards and California health code regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Food Handler's Card or ServSafe Certification a plus
