You’ll sit close to the work and close to leadership, which means you’ll learn fast.No prior HR experience is required. What matters is that you’re analytical, organized, eager to grow, and mature enough to handle sensitive employee information with professionalism and discretion.Duties and ResponsibilitiesHeadcount AnalyticsBuild and maintain headcount reports and dashboards that track workforce trends over timeSupport headcount forecasting by compiling and validating data from HR systemsIdentify trends in attrition, growth, workforce composition and surface findings clearlyPartner with HR and Finance to ensure headcount data is accurate and reconciledCompensation Analytics & Program AdministrationAssist with annual compensation planning cycles, merit processes, and salary benchmarkingMaintain and audit compensation data to ensure accuracy and consistencyBuild and update Excel models and tools used in compensation analysis and reportingHelp administer compensation programs and ensure timely, accurate executionBenefits Utilization Analytics & Program ManagementAnalyze benefits enrollment, utilization, and cost trend data to identify opportunities and flag concernsPrepare reports for open enrollment planning, vendor reviews, and leadership updatesSupport day-to-day benefits program administration and employee data maintenanceTrack key benefits metrics and assist in evaluating program effectivenessAcross All AreasMaintain clean, well-organized data and documentationIdentify process improvement opportunities and help build more efficient workflowsHandle all work with a high degree of professionalism given the confidential nature of the dataBe curious, ask questions, dig into the numbers, and bring insights, not just outputsRequirementsYou don’t need to come from HR. You do need to be someone who:Is energized by data, enjoy working in spreadsheets, finding patterns, and asking “why does this look this way?”Has strong Excel skills, comfortable with pivot tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, formulas, and building clean, functional modelsIs detail-oriented and accurate, catch errors before they become problemsCommunicates clearly, can translate what the data says into something a non-analyst can understandIs discreet and professional, understand that compensation and benefits data is sensitive and treat it accordinglyIs eager to learn, ask good questions and take feedback wellCan manage multiple priorities without dropping the ballQualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, mathematics, or a related analytical field (or equivalent experience)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, pivot tables, formulas, data organizationStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsHigh degree of professionalism and personal integrityNice to have:Experience with HRIS platforms, payroll systems, or reporting tools (e.g., Paycom, Workday, ADP, UKG)Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)Exposure to compensation, benefits, workforce analytics (even if only through coursework or internshipsAbout the PositionFull time$80,000-90,000 annual salaryBronx, NY #J-18808-Ljbffr
