Certified Surgical Technician - Ambulatory Surgery Operating Room - DHK - Days This full‑time position at the NewYork‑Presbyterian/David H. Koch Center in Manhattan requires a Certified Surgical Technician to provide essential support to physicians during ambulatory surgical procedures. The role includes functioning as a scrub person, circulation assistant, and overall member of the surgical team. Duties involve preparing, maintaining, and replenishing supplies and equipment in the Operating Room to ensure the smooth execution of surgeries, thereby enhancing patient care and outcomes. Location • Schedule Manhattan, New York (on‑site only). Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. Preferred Criteria Prior experience as an OR/Surgical Tech in an acute‑care setting. Required Criteria Certified Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting certification (NBSTSA); new graduates must provide exam dates prior to hire and must obtain certification within six months of employment and complete a six‑month probationary period. Completion of a certified Surgical Technologist, Operating Room Technician, or comparable training program, or equivalent experience as an O.R. Technician/Surgical Technologist in an acute‑care setting. High school diploma or GED. Salary Salary Range: $44.95 – $50.65 per hour.
