CNC Machinist 1st & 2nd ShiftsNorthern Gear & Machining is seeking experienced CNC Operator/Machinist for 1st & 2nd Shifts to collaborate with a team dedicated to the success of our customers. There is a $2 shift premium for 2nd shift. $18 per hour starting pay!Responsibilities:Operating Vertical and Horizontal CNC Mills OR Lathes, Gear HobsWorking with Engineering & other Team MembersWorking from a blueprint or drawing with specificationsUsing a variety of precision measuring devicesAdhering to Quality Assurance requirements including first piece inspections and recording of measurement dataMaintaining a clean and safe work environmentFamiliar and ISO standards and follow all standards and proceduresStriving for continuous improvementBe able to work in a cell structure operating 2-3 machines at a timeQualifications:Be able to work in a fast-paced environmentAble to effectively communicate with all levels of the organizationA positive attitudeAchieve, maintain, and establish productivity and quality requirementsZero defect quality mentality2+ years of CNC machining experience preferredPay based on experience.Northern Gear and Machining is a full-service machining company based in Southeastern Wisconsin that produces precision machined parts, geared components, and related assemblies.
