Digital Records Specialist

MacMore is seeking to fill a Digital Records Specialist for a pending contract award with the Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command /PKA.

Location :
Robins Air Force Base, Georgia

Key Responsibilities:

Manage archival holdings and improve the integrity, standardization, accessibility, and traceability of electronic historical records. This combined pricing role supports both archival management and the data-integrity or archival-science function described in the capability volume.

Inventory available repositories and physical holdings and help establish archival processing, storage, file-naming, metadata, intake, assignment, and status-tracking standards.
Organize and control physical and electronic archival holdings while preserving traceability between source materials and digital records.
Assess repository structure and data quality across approximately 15 repositories or file plans and more than 10,000 records identified in the workload data.
Identify duplicate or erroneous records, inconsistent schemas, missing metadata, and accessibility gaps; execute Government-approved cleanup actions.
Apply standardization rules and maintain exception logs so data changes are repeatable and auditable.
Perform first-level quality checks and support second-review sampling for completeness, sequencing, orientation, readability, metadata, and declassification markings.
Measure and report data-hygiene progress, duplicate and error reduction, standardization completion, and accessibility improvements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree; possesses a minimum of 4 years’ experience working with digital records.
Ability to manage archival holdings, metadata, repository structure, and record traceability.
Ability to identify data-quality defects and execute controlled, auditable cleanup and standardization activities.
Ability to apply documented quality checks without unintended record loss or corruption
