Position: Propane Delivery Driver

Location: Lantana, Florida

What you'll be working on

• Operating truck and delivery equipment safely to deliver propane gas.
• Performing pre trip and post trip safety inspections of vehicle and equipment.
• Documenting findings of inspections and ensuring appropriate action is taken in regards to any exceptions.
• Preparing and maintaining all appropriate documentation required of drivers by the Department of Transportation.
• Observing all traffic rules and practicing defensive driving techniques.
• Observing all company, industry, and regulatory guidelines regarding the safe operation of equipment and the delivery of propane gas.
• Recording deliveries, meter readings and tank percentages accurately.
• Checking credit status of customers prior to making deliveries when on call.
• Collecting payments from customers and disconnecting gas service as directed.
• Being sensitive to customers' situations and providing helpful assistance to resolve problems.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

Who you are...

• You possess an active CDL class B.
• You possess a Hazmat endorsement.
• You have a keen sense of smell.
• You love working with customers and have great communication skills.
• You are able to maintain truck in a safe and clean manner.
• You are comfortable with the below hazards and working conditions:
• Hazards: Exposure to various substances which could be hazardous if handled improperly.
• Working Conditions: Assigned tasks are normally performed in field surroundings with exposure to all types of weather conditions.
