Position Summary The IT Application Analyst supports, configures, and maintains enterprise HR, Finance, and Legal applications, with primary responsibility for Dayforce and SAP SuccessFactors. The principal focus of this position is the configuration and administration of Dayforce Time and Attendance, including timekeeping, scheduling, and pay policy configuration supporting accurate and timely payroll processing. The position also administers SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, the system of record for employee data, ensuring data integrity and reliable delivery of employee records to Dayforce and other downstream systems. The Analyst serves as the technical subject matter expert for HR applications, advising internal stakeholders on best practices, technical feasibility, and issue resolution, and partners with HR, Payroll, Legal, Finance, IT, and external vendors to ensure applications meet business requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Dayforce Time & Attendance (Primary Responsibility) Configure and maintain Dayforce Time and Attendance, including pay policies, pay rules, punch policies, schedules, attendance policies, time entry policies and holiday calendars Support full-scope Dayforce implementation activities for newly onboarded and acquired businesses Translate HR, Payroll, and operational requirements - including applicable federal, state, and collective bargaining provisions governing overtime and meal/rest periods - into system configuration Administer time capture environments (Dayforce Touch, web clock, mobile) and resolve clock entry and punch issues Test and validate configuration changes end-to-end, including impacts to timesheets, pay calculations, and downstream payroll processing Partner with Payroll to research and resolve pay discrepancies and support pay period close activities SuccessFactors Employee Central Maintain Employee Central foundation objects and org values, including job codes, locations, departments, and picklist values Configure and maintain role-based permissions, workflows, and business rules Configure Employee Central to onboard new acquisitions and support organizational changes Support semi-annual SuccessFactors release reviews, impact assessment, and testing Ensure accurate and timely flow of employee data from Employee Central to Dayforce and other downstream systems Application Management Maintain assigned applications (Dayforce, SuccessFactors, Ironclad, Concur) to ensure acceptable service levels through monitoring and resolution of break/fix issues Assess vendor releases and upgrades and perform required testing, with particular attention to Dayforce and SuccessFactors release cycles Provide administration and support for Ironclad (contract lifecycle management) and Concur (travel and expense) Gather stakeholder requirements and translate them into system configuration and process improvements Communicate application-related information to stakeholders, including updates, outages, patches, and planned maintenance Ensure applications comply with SPX security standards (SSO, MFA, role-based access) and Change Management processes and controls Manage the department ticket queue and resolve Requests and Incidents in accordance with established SLAs Coordinate technical requirements with SAP, Dayforce, the AMS team, and SPX IT as required Create and maintain documentation, knowledge articles, and configuration workbooks Integrations and Interfaces Monitor the daily employee integration from SuccessFactors to Dayforce; resolve integration errors and data discrepancies Monitor interfaces between core HR applications, other SPX applications, and third-party vendors; resolve issues as identified Gather and document requirements for new interfaces and modifications to existing interfaces Collaborate with the SPX Boomi team to build, test, and deploy interface changes Projects Participate in HR technology and enterprise IT projects as subject matter expert, technical resource, or configuration lead, including requirements analysis, process design, system configuration, and user acceptance testing Lead workstreams for Dayforce Time and Attendance initiatives, including new site rollouts, policy changes, and acquisition or divestiture support Required Qualifications Hands-on configuration experience with Dayforce Time and Attendance / Workforce Management , including pay policies, pay rules, schedules, entitlements, and punch policies Experience administering SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Demonstrated knowledge of HR processes and related systems , including the time-to-pay lifecycle Experience troubleshooting, testing, and validating configuration changes in SaaS HR applications Experience supporting data integrations and interfaces between HR systems Experience conducting discovery and gathering requirements with business stakeholders Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities across project and production support work High Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications Experience with additional SuccessFactors modules (e.g., Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation) Experience with Ironclad, Concur, or comparable contract lifecycle management and travel/expense platforms Experience with Boomi or other iPaaS/integration tools Knowledge of time and attendance compliance requirements (FLSA, state wage and hour regulations, collective bargaining agreements) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences Education and Certifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Hybrid (3 days onsite) How we live our culture Our culture is at the center of what we do and, more importantly, who we are.
