Essential functions of position include, but are not limited to:

• Performs periodic cycle counting to assure accurate inventory counts supplies and adjusts inventory as needed to maintain accurate count.
• Stocks unit with office and medical supplies and prepares requisitions to maintain inventory levels.
• Receives shipments, logs receipts, enters data into computer system, contacts suppliers with damages/errors, delivers to using departments or other facilities
• Answers the telephone, receiving dock, and walk up window in a professional manner and directs calls or takes messages.
• Faxes and photocopies information as requested by staff.
• Performs all clerical/computer functions to support patient care delivery.
• Covers other departmental functions as needed.
• Establishes new inventory departments, changes as needed, labels shelves, determines par levels.
• Expedites past due supply orders, makes emergency substitutions as needed.

Minimum Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Experience with same or similar computer systems.
