Project ManagerAmyx is seeking to hire a Project Manager to support our Army client at Ft. Belvoir, VA. Responsibilities include:The Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day technical management.The Project Manager will ensure technical solutions and schedules are implemented in a timely manner while developing and managing technical project plans to completion.The project manager will manage project team scheduling, tracking, reporting, risk analysis, and cost management, lead the design, implementation and production life cycle.The Project Manager will head the integration meetings, stakeholder sessions, and requirement collection activities.The Project Manager will have the responsibility to brief Army leaders on current projects and the benefits to the Army.Qualifications Required:Must possess an undergraduate degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering or Business or other related field.Must be certified Project Management Professional.Must have a minimum of 5 years of program management experience with information Systems.Must have a minimal of 5 years of experience with US Army Planning Programming and budget formulation business (PPB) processes.Project managers must have minimum of one of the following disciplines; At least 3 years project management experience managing complex information systems using the latest industry technologies, good understanding of DoD Cyber Security requirements, and previous project management experience with complex information systems.Secret clearanceDesired:Demonstrated excellence in planning, directing, and managing software development, platform operations and/or cybersecurity projects.Demonstrated successful management and supervision of employees of various labor categories and skills in efforts similar in size and scope as referenced in this PWS.Knowledge of industry-accepted standards and best practices related to Software Development, Cloud Computing, CybersecurityDemonstrated experience in a DOD IT environment.Excellent communication skills at senior government levelsKnowledge of industry-accepted Agile standards and best practicesBenefits include:Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans (PPO & HSA options available)Flexible Spending Accounts (Health Care & Dependent Care FSA)Health Savings Account (HSA)401(k) with matching contributionsRothQualified Transportation Expense with matching contributionsShort Term DisabilityLong Term DisabilityLife and Accidental Death & DismembermentBasic & Voluntary Life InsuranceWellness ProgramPTO11 HolidaysProfessional Development ReimbursementPlease contact View email address on click.appcast.io with any questions!
