Strategic Account Lead - Hybrid NYC

Responsibilities Own and manage day-to-day account operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard. Develop a strong understanding of the client’s business, objectives, industry landscape, and key challenges, applying this knowledge to inform recommendations and account support. Serve as a trusted day-to-day client contact, building and maintaining positive working relationships across client teams. Lead account administration responsibilities, including meeting scheduling, agenda creation, status tracking, asset management, timelines, and follow-up communications. Facilitate internal and external meetings, preparing relevant materials, documenting key decisions, and providing clear recaps and action items to stakeholders. Coordinate cross-functional teams including Relationships, Community Management, Strategy, Creative, Production, and Insights to ensure seamless project execution. Monitor project scopes, timelines, and deliverables while proactively identifying risks and escalating issues when necessary. Support the development of client presentations, status reports, strategic recommendations, and campaign documentation. Maintain performance tracking documents, reporting tools, and account resources to ensure information is accurate and accessible. Stay informed on social media trends, platform updates, industry developments, and emerging opportunities relevant to client business objectives. Mentor and support junior team members by sharing knowledge, reviewing work, and helping develop best practices across the team. Demonstrate strong ownership and accountability while effectively managing priorities and communicating proactively with Account Managers and Account Directors. Qualifications This is a hybrid role, with 2 days per week in office required. You must reside in New York. 2–4 years of experience in account management, client services, project management, social media marketing, influencer marketing, or a related field. Experience managing day-to-day client relationships and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously in an agency environment. Social media and/or influencer marketing experience strongly preferred. Experience supporting clients in tech, electronics, telecom, consumer technology, or related industries preferred. Experience working within large agencies and managing programs for complex organizations or enterprise-level clients. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues before they impact delivery. Experience collaborating across multiple disciplines including strategy, creative, production, community management, and analytics. Strong advantage if you have experience building social communities and/or community management. Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Basecamp, Asana, Monday.com, or similar platforms. Salary Range $60,000 – $70,000 1000heads is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
