Work Environment\n

This full-time role operates in a fully remote setting, providing flexibility that allows therapists to work from the comfort of their homes. Scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., offering a predictable schedule to help maintain work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients seeking therapy.

• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement customized treatment plans that align with their personal goals and preferences, integrating evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journeys.

• Monitor and record client progress diligently, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and holistic treatment.

• Continuously update skills and knowledge within the field of mood disorders by staying informed on the latest research and advancements.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to discuss client care strategies and foster a culture of continual learning.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, working to dismantle stigmas associated with mental health and promoting community understanding.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve clients dealing with mood disorders—individuals experiencing challenges such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will also have the opportunity to support vulnerable populations, including survivors of domestic violence, refugees, and those experiencing homelessness. Your compassionate approach will be vital in creating safe therapeutic spaces for clients to share their experiences and work on their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Compensation and Benefits\n
