Field Service Engineer 1

GE HealthCare seeks a Field Service Engineer 1 to perform preventative maintenance and installations on X-Ray and Ultrasound equipment in the Tampa Bay and St. Petersburg region. The role emphasizes on-time service delivery, customer satisfaction, and independent troubleshooting of medical imaging systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled preventative maintenance on X-Ray and Ultrasound systems independently and accurately
• Install, test, document, and hand off medical equipment to customers with proper training
• Maintain customer service logs and internal service records in timely fashion
• Identify and recommend value-added services to enhance customer operational efficiency
• Communicate with commercial teams to identify sales leads and support contract renewals

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Biomedical, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent military education or 4+ years servicing electronic equipment
• Valid driver's license required and maintained throughout employment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and web-based platforms
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs unassisted; frequent bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends as needed
• Pass background check, drug test, and comply with customer access and immunization policies
• Technical experience with X-Ray/Ultrasound preventative maintenance preferred
