Release Train Engineer (RTE) - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Release Train Engineer (RTE) for a 12+ month contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC.

This RTE role is responsible for optimizing the flow of epics/features and value delivered by an Agile Release Train. Key responsibilities include facilitating Release Train ceremonies, managing dependencies, reporting the health of epic/feature delivery and overall program increment, and promoting agile principles and mindset through coaching. These individuals ensure impediments to delivery are resolved quickly, protect the Trains from disruptions, and drive continuous improvement. This role requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Optimize the flow of epics/features and value delivered by an Agile Release Train
• Facilitate Release Train ceremonies
• Manage dependencies and report on the health of epic/feature delivery
• Promote agile principles/mindset through coaching
• Ensure impediments to delivery are resolved quickly
• Protect the Trains from disruptions and drive continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Working knowledge of Lean Agile SDLC processes and deliverables
• Working knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management
• Experience in education at all levels of management within the agile framework (portfolio, program, team)
• Excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills
• Process and detail-oriented
• Willingness to be accountable for meeting all deliverable dates for task assignments
• Ability to foster strong collaboration among team members and help the team solve problems
• Self-motivation, self-direction, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment

Pay range: $74.51 - $82.51 per hour
