Associate Attorney


I am working with the leadership of a well-established Michigan law firm seeking an Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience to join its Southfield office. This is an excellent opportunity for an Associate Attorney with any litigation background who is interested in building or expanding a practice focused on professional liability insurance defense.


The salary for this role will be market-competitive and commensurate with experience, with generous performance-based bonuses.


This is a primarily on-site position in Southfield, Michigan, with occasional remote-work flexibility.


What We Need

• 3-5 years of litigation experience.
• Interest in transitioning into or further developing a professional liability insurance defense practice.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Ability to manage deadlines, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a fast-paced litigation team.
• Detail-oriented, motivated Associate Attorney with a strong commitment to client service and professional growth.
