Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together.We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location(s).Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.Schwab Technology Services (STS) enables the future of how clients manage their money by providing innovative and reliable technology products and services as part of our ongoing commitment to democratize access to investing and financial planning.We are looking for an energetic and accomplished Data Engineer (individual contributor) with a strong technology and solution delivery acumen who will be responsible for the successful design, development, and delivery of business intelligence solutions.Key Responsabilities Creation and maintenance of enterprise data assets, reporting, and data analytics that support business leaders in decision making, regulatory reporting, and continuous process improvementWorking closely with business and other stakeholders to understand the needs and implementationPlanning, estimation, scheduling, prioritization, and coordination of technical activities related to system developmentPerforming ETL design, development, data management and data analysisCreating data model, performance tuning, load plan etc. Making sure that deliverables fulfill both functional and non-functional requirementsProvide guidance and technical oversight to junior engineers and vendor contractors, ensuring high-quality execution and fostering professional growth within the teamEngaging with both onshore and offshore teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality data engineering solutionsEnsuring system alignment to Architecture policies and best practices; ensure that process methodologies are followed in system developmentIdentifying opportunities for system reuse and system simplification What you have Required QualificationsBachelors’ degree in Engineering/Technology8+ years of professional experience in development, support, and maintenance of ETL and database applicationsDeep understanding of Data Warehousing and Data Modeling concepts3+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica’s Intelligent Data Management Cloud(IDMC)/Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)2+years of hands-on experience with GCP technologies (GCS, BigQuery, Dataproc)1+years of experience with Control MStrong SQL KnowledgeExperience with Shell, Python, PERL and other scripting languagesFamiliar and comfortable with agile development techniquesFamiliarity with SCM and DevOps tool suites and CI/CD best practices; examples include Git (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, etc.), Bamboo etcCritical-thinking and strong problem-solving skills with ability to analyze and understand dataPreferred QualificationsExperience in the Financial Services industryAbility to interpret key trends and metrics, and leverage them for actionable decisionsStrong oral, written, and interpersonal skills for interacting and throughout all levels of the organizationIn addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.Job SummaryRequisition ID: 2026-120367Posted Date: 1 week ago(7/30/2026 5:05 PM)Category: Engineering & Software DevelopmentSalary Range: USD $90,000.00 - $145,000.00 / YearApplication deadline: 8/10/2026Position Type: Full time
