Summary Club Demonstration Services (CDS) seeks an Event Manager responsible for recruitment, hiring and supervision of in‑store Product Demonstrators. The role involves overseeing product preparation and presentation, training, and delivering superb service to all Club members. Strong communication between warehouse managers, vendors, and demonstrators is required, including participation in new location grand openings. Responsibilities Recruit, train and hire part‑time Product Demonstrator staff. Oversee product preparation, presentation, food safety and sanitation. Train Product Demonstrators in demonstration preparation and outstanding customer service. Communicate between multiple managers, vendors and demonstrators. Participate in new location grand openings as required. Direct all activities engaged in successful events, promotion and sales of vendor products. Communicate strategies and tactics to achieve sales, service and operational excellence. Support maintenance and ongoing development of corporate governance framework, policies and procedures. Collaborate with the District Manager to evaluate event performance metrics, including execution rates, sales performance, labor hours and operational costs, and make necessary adjustments. Achieve defined revenue and net income objectives through sales activation, strategy and expense management. Optimize customer satisfaction and loyalty through improved operations. Qualifications High school education or equivalent. (Associate's Degree or higher is preferred.) Two to four years of related experience in retail, hospitality, or food environments; or 3‑5 years of client‑side or supplier‑side experience in a consumer‑packaged goods company. Detail oriented with excellent leadership and communication skills. Proven ability to lead high‑performing teams and exercise independent judgment. Able to coach and counsel employees, take correct measures as needed. Flexibility and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook, web browsers). NEHA Professional Food Handler Certification required.
