Corporate Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Corporate Accountant to join our Finance team. The Corporate Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the monthly close process, preparing journal entries, managing accruals, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role will partner with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting, process improvements, and overall business objectives. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post monthly journal entries, including recurring and non-recurring entries. Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual accruals to ensure expenses are recorded in the appropriate accounting period. Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Prepare and analyze financial statements, schedules, and management reports. Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts. Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations. Collaborate with departments across the organization to gather financial information and ensure accurate reporting. Review financial data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GAAP and internal controls. Support special projects and ad hoc financial analyses as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment. Knowledge of GAAP and accrual-based accounting principles. Experience with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
