Sashco’s Territory Sales Manager (Home Improvement) may be a perfect fit for you! The Home Improvement Territory Manager is accountable for owning the Southeast territory, leveraging Sashco’s value proposition, hunt for new business, uncover opportunities and can close in the moment! Preferred candidate location would be Birmingham, AL; candidates in other areas within the Southeast territory(GA, AL, MS, FL, TN, LA) will be considered as well. What you will be doing Road Warrior – traveling up to 75% of the time. Bringing insight, not just products—teaching customers something new and influencing how they think about their business. Proactively hunting for growth—identifying, pursuing, and closing new opportunities in both quick-strike and long-cycle situations. Balancing selling styles, winning one-call opportunities while also leading strategic, consultative conversations that create long-term value. Driving measurable impact—exceeding growth goals, expanding placement and sell-through, and helping partners execute at a higher level. Building high-performing partnerships—working with distributors, retailers, and contractors to improve outcomes, not just maintain relationships. Taking full ownership—managing your territory plan, prioritizing effectively, and delivering results without needing close direction. Executing in the field—training teams on Sashco products, supporting merchandising and promotion throughout territory and on occasion, national events. Knowledge - takes the initiative to deepen their understanding of company, industry and values. Qualifications 2–3+ years of outside sales or territory management experience (required). Ability to travel up to 75% is required. Demonstrated success inboth new business development and account growth. Experience in building materials, home improvement, or a related industry (preferred). Experience using a Challenger sales approach (preferred). Experience with merchandising or in-store execution. Experience calling on wholesale distributors and retail accounts. Strong communication skills, including the ability tolead conversations and influence decisions. Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must be able to pass drug and background checks.
