Salary$200000 - $300000LocationNew York, NY, USAContractPermanentIndustryNon-lifeContactHannah View email address on us.fitly.work Oliver James are pleased to be working with a high-growth US Healthcare Risk Platform seeking a Head of Reinsurance to build and scale its reinsurance and medical stop-loss offering across the rapidly evolving Value-Based Care market.This individual will lead the development, structuring and placement of reinsurance solutions for risk-bearing healthcare organizations, with a particular focus on ACOs and other provider organizations participating in downside-risk arrangements.The successful candidate will combine deep healthcare reinsurance and medical stop-loss expertise with an understanding of capital-motivated risk transfer and the commercial ability to originate new business. Experience working with ACOs is critical, with knowledge of emerging CMS models such as LEAD particularly valuable.Role requirements:Experience across healthcare reinsurance and medical stop-loss, including capital-motivated reinsurance solutionsStrong Value-Based Care and ACO experience, with exposure to emerging models such as LEAD highly desirableProven ability to originate new business and develop relationships with ACOs and other risk-bearing healthcare organizationsStrong relationships across reinsurers, carriers and underwriting partnersExperience structuring complex insurance and reinsurance transactionsThis is a senior, highly impactful CEO-facing opportunity to build a reinsurance business from the ground up, with the autonomy to shape strategy, develop new solutions and build out the platform as it scales.
