Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Customer Service & Billing Specialist to join our healthcare administration team. The overall objective of this position is to perform account maintenance, billing, reconciliation, reporting, and customer service-related activities. In this role, you will support contract administration, cash control operations, and membership data management. Key Responsibilities Account & Membership Maintenance: Set up and maintain member data, including processing enrollments, corrections, retroactivity adjustments, and terminations. Billing & Reconciliation: Identify, research, and reconcile billing payments to ensure accurate eligibility determination, payment processing, revenue tracking, and membership records. Resolve payment discrepancies and delinquencies. Customer Support: Handle incoming and outgoing calls to support eligibility inquiries and interact with benefit administrators to explain health plan policies, answer billing questions, and resolve related issues. Documentation & Office Support: Identify, code, batch, scan, and index documents for imaging; provide general office services support such as sorting and delivering mail, filing documents, ordering supplies, and performing miscellaneous facilities tasks. Quality & Collaboration: Collect and monitor productivity and customer service quality measures; participate in team-based projects, assist with training, and facilitate communication across departments to improve operations. Qualifications & Requirements Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant customer service or call center experience; 6+ months of alphanumeric data entry experience; preference for accounting, finance, or cash handling experience. Technical Skills: Proficiency in math, data entry, typing, spelling, and grammar; computer literate and comfortable working in a PC Windows environment. Soft Skills: Highly analytical, detail-oriented, customer-centric, excellent conflict resolution, decision-making capabilities, and ability to adapt to shifting priorities. Additional Skills: Analytical, Detail-Oriented, Call Center Experience.
