Responsibilities include developing, supporting, and contributing to the design of integrations and extensions within Oracle HCM Cloud and between HCM and other enterprise systems, applications, and databases. Enhanced personnel screening, which includes a background review, drug screen and psychological assessment, will be required if you are selected for this position Responsibilities:Application/Integration Design and Architecture: Support stakeholders and architects in understanding business requirements and contribute to integration solution design that enables seamless data exchange between enterprise systems, both internally and externally. Application/Integration Development: Design and implement integrations including Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for orchestration and scheduled integrations, adapter configuration (Oracle HCM Cloud, REST, SOAP, Database, File/FTP, and others), and reusable libraries and lookups. Write clean, maintainable integration flows and implement data mapping, transformation, and validation logic. Ensure integrations adhere to security, performance, and reliability standards. This also includes development inside of Oracle HCM Cloud utilizing ATOM Feeds, Fast Formulas, BIP, and VBCS, as well as Oracle APEX and Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) as needed. Familiarity with additional middleware and integration platforms such as Microsoft BizTalk, Boomi, MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services, Informatica Cloud, or Workato is a plus.System Connectivity: Establish connectivity between various systems, databases, and applications through middleware solutions such as enterprise service buses (ESBs), message queues, or APIs. Configure and manage integration connections, authentication mechanisms, and data encryption to ensure secure and reliable data transmission.Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve integration issues including data synchronization errors, connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks. Support and troubleshoot production integrations in a business-critical enterprise environment. Leverage platform monitoring, activity streams, and logging capabilities to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. Collaborate with system administrators, application developers, and external vendors to identify root causes and implement timely resolutions.Integration Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans and scenarios to validate integration workflows, data integrity, and system compatibility. This includes writing unit and integration tests covering happy path, edge cases, and failure scenarios, with test results validated against expected outcomes before deployment.Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create comprehensive technical documentation including integration specifications, architectural diagrams, sequence diagrams, and troubleshooting guides. Maintain a shared knowledge base with clear instructions, runbooks, and known issue resolutions. Share knowledge with internal teams and contribute to team documentation standards.Stay Updated: Keep abreast of emerging integration technologies, platform updates, and industry standards.
