Financial Analyst Top Skills Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting/finance 1 -3 years of experience in corporate finance Microsoft Office proficient, particularly advanced Excel skills Position Description Responsibilities Analyze actual operating results and interpret data and presents results to management Respond to budget related requests for financial data Responsible for reconciling promotional claims and Point of Sale POS activity Research payment reconciliation issues that arise from audits, exception reports or remittance changes Generate required reporting to validate payments and resolve discrepancies and variances Reconcile carrier commissions against in-store reporting to ensure timely and accurate payment Responsible for finance/reporting, financial data analytics Deliver reporting and analytics to a variety of key business stakeholders, utilizing appropriate data to effectively create actionable spending plans Requirements Bachelor’s Degree with 1-3 years of directly related experience is required Prior experience in retail operations preferred Must have accounting experience utilizing SAP R/3 software Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite experience with solid Excel and PowerPoint skills.
