Amazing opportunity with career path for advancement with a STABLE company! The Staff Accountant will support the day-to-day accounting operations of the organization handling various duties.

Responsibilities

· Maintain and manage general ledger accounts and related accounting activities

· Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely during the month-end close process

· Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations

· Analyze financial statements and investigate variances or discrepancies

· Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities

· Support preparation of financial reports and schedules

· Backup Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as needed 

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required

· Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience required

· Manufacturing industry experience preferred

· Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required

· Experience with ERP/accounting systems preferred

· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
