Accounts Payable Specialist

We manufacture a broad range of plastic sheet for a wide variety of industries. We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for our Headquarters in Richmond, IN. This is a full‑time, on‑site day shift position in Richmond that handles an extremely high‑volume accounts payable workflow for multiple sites, processing a very large number of invoices each day with accuracy and efficiency. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Performing accounts payable processing for multiple plant locations Assisting with monthly and yearly reporting Printing, matching and disbursing AP checks weekly General office administration – answering telephones, directing calls, filing, etc. Reconciling accounts, analyzing invoices, researching and correcting discrepancies Providing support during month‑end closing Daily billing The ideal candidate will have: High School Diploma/GED required A minimum of 2 years of AP experience, including invoice processing (high‑volume, multi‑entity) and Payment Runs (ACH, Check, Wire) Experience with high‑volume purchase order 3‑way match Financial Software experience. Microsoft D365 is a plus Ability to analyze invoices and reconcile accounts Ability to work with remote/off‑site locations Ability to excel both in a team environment and independently Proven analytical and problem‑solving abilities Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Primex offers a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary.
