Logistics Manager

RealREPP, a full-service recruiting firm, is currently teaming with a growing, stable, and nationally recognized building systems expert to assist them in hiring a Logistics Manager in undefined, undefined. Responsibilities Oversee vehicle traffic and all shipments in and out of the facility, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Manage local logistics movements between on-campus and off-site facilities. Lead and develop a team of Supervisors and unionized logistics personnel, fostering collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence. Drive process efficiency and innovation across all logistics activities. Evaluate vendor and carrier performance and provide actionable feedback to optimize service quality. Partner with operations teams to manage inbound shipments from international suppliers. Ensure adherence to safety policies, compliance requirements, and company standards. Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and data tracking related to logistics operations. Coordinate maintenance schedules for vehicles, trailers, and logistics assets to ensure reliability and compliance. Qualifications 5+ years of logistics experience, including team leadership and operations management. Associate’s degree or higher in a related field required. Proven experience managing unionized teams or similar workforce structures preferred. Background in FedEx, DSL, or related logistics operations is a plus. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with strong attention to detail. Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools; ability to interpret and report logistics metrics effectively. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Commitment to safety, process improvement, and continuous team development.
