Metro Services is seeking to immediately fill Maintenance Journeyman positions for a Manufacturing company in Lebanon, TN. This is a Temp-to-Hire job. This position is also open for travelers with paid Per Diem . Apply now!

Duties for this position include:

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems, industrial machinery, and production equipment

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components to minimize equipment downtime

• Install power supply wiring, conduit, programmable controllers, robots, conveyors, and other industrial equipment

• Troubleshoot and replace faulty electrical components, including motors, relays, switches, transformers, printed circuit boards, and sensing devices

• Perform preventative maintenance, replace worn parts, realign machine components, and test equipment following repairs

• Program and troubleshoot robotic equipment and programmable controllers to verify proper operation

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment documentation

• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all TOSHA regulations, company safety procedures, and required PPE guidelines

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and perform additional maintenance duties as assigned

Compensation (USD):

$37.00–$38.00/hour

Schedule:

1st Shift

Monday – Friday

5:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Overtime: Saturday or extended shifts as needed

2nd Shift

Monday – Friday

1:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Overtime: Saturday or extended shifts as needed

Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Journeyman-level maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment

• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

• Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment, robots, conveyors, and automated machinery preferred

• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals

• Experience installing and repairing industrial electrical wiring, motors, and control systems

• Ability to work any assigned shift and overtime as required

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Commitment to workplace safety and ability to follow TOSHA regulations and company procedures

• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently and as part of a team
