Business Analyst

Analyst Start Date: ASAP - Hours/week: 40 - Ability to be in NYC office 1-2 days/week Length of assignment: approximately 3 months - Candidate does not need to have business planning/analyst background. Manager is open to analysts with different types of backgrounds so long as they are data savvy and have strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. Open to temp to perm (to Business Planner) if candidate has Business Planning type of background. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Analyze sales data, sales forecast, and ad-hoc reports to assist the Director of Business Planning. Responsible for creating and providing forecasts, analysis, and direction of forecasts to maximize decision making ability. Provides data to aid with weekly, monthly, quarterly forecast processes. Analyze and manage KPIs for Sport COT. Monitor/analyze sales trends, distribution and productivity for new and existing doors. Monitor and analyze the sales performance for sales incentive programs channel specific. Provide data support for weekly business review including Excel and PowerPoint. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or Engineering. Minimum of 1-3 years experience in business analyst, finance, and/or sales analyst related role. Self-starter with strong initiative and sense of urgency; ability to work within the high expectation of the company and team. Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook. Familiarity with SAP, Tableau, and/or Power BI.
