Controller

Position Summary: The Financial Controller will play a pivotal role in managingfinancial health and ensuring the integrity offinancial reporting. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in accounting and finance, capable of leading a team and collaborating with various departments to achievebusiness objectives. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Manage cash flow and working capital to support business growth. Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, working closely with external auditors. Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to the executive team. Mentor and develop the finance team, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is highly desirable. 7+ years experience. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations. Proficient in financial software and advanced Excel skills. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco notes the salary range for the role as follows: $115-135k .
