SHIFT SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)

Position: SHIFT SUPERVISOR, full-time, located at One Washington Square, San Jose, CA 95192 (San Jose State University campus). Schedule: Full-time. Hours and days may vary; details provided at interview. Requirement: At least 6 months of supervisory experience. Pay Range: $23.00 per hour to $26.00 per hour. Job Summary Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure are maintained. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide training and create work schedules. Evaluate the performance of workers, reward high performers and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance. Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety. Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off. Mentor and develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization. Perform other duties as assigned.
