Responsibilities Promote a strong culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement, including lean manufacturing and 5S practices. Partner with cross‑functional leaders across program management, engineering, and quality to develop and execute manufacturing strategies aligned with cost, quality, and delivery objectives. Build and develop a highly capable, cross‑trained workforce to support evolving production demands and future growth. Lead teams responsible for materials procurement, supplier coordination, and production planning—from long‑range planning through shop‑floor execution and work‑in‑progress management. Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships to drive competitiveness, including leading negotiations around pricing, quality, and terms. Oversee frontline leadership managing multi‑shift operations, supporting a range of skilled manufacturing personnel across fabrication, assembly, and specialized processes. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess and implement capital investments in equipment, tooling, and production capabilities to support long‑term growth. Support business development efforts by contributing cost data, forecasting efficiency improvements, and evaluating future manufacturing capabilities.
