A well-established nonprofit organization in the Grand Rapids area is looking to add an HR Generalist to support employees and day-to-day HR operations in a professional office environment.

Key Responsibilities for the HR Generalist:

• Serve as a point of contact for employee questions related to policies, procedures, and benefits
• Maintain accurate employee files and ensure documentation is up to date
• Assist with onboarding paperwork, employee status changes, and offboarding
• Enter and maintain employee data within the HRIS
• Support recruiting efforts by posting jobs and coordinating interviews
• Assist with updating internal forms, job descriptions, and HR documents

Qualifications for the HR Generalist:

• Experience in an administrative, HR support, or office coordination role
• Comfort working in Microsoft Excel and handling data entry
• Familiarity with HR systems or employee database software
• Experience supporting onboarding, employee records, or recruiting processes
