Quality Inspection Supervisor

The Quality Inspection Supervisor leads and coordinates nondestructive and dimensional inspection activities within the Holtec Advanced Manufacturing Division, ensuring products meet applicable code, quality, and safety requirements. This role provides technical and people leadership across inspection functions, supporting manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams while driving consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement across inspection operations. Location Camden, NJ Primary Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and assign NDE and dimensional inspection tasks to inspection personnel based on production priorities Ensure all NDE inspections (MT, PT, VT, and others as qualified) are performed in accordance with approved procedures, applicable industry codes, and customer requirements Review and approve inspection results, reports, and records prior to release Coordinate with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve nonconformances, technical issues, and workflow challenges Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing to provide technical insight regarding inspection requirements, methods, and outcomes Supervise the daily activities of NDE and dimensional inspection personnel Mentor, train, and develop inspection staff to support skill development and performance Ensure inspection personnel maintain all required certifications and training (SNT-TC-1A, internal qualifications, code updates, etc.) Conduct performance evaluations and participate in the selection and onboarding of new inspection personnel Promote a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training strongly preferred 3+ years of NDE inspection experience, including 1+ years in a lead, supervisory, or mentoring role ASNT SNT-TC-1A Level II certifications in MT, PT, and VT required Strong understanding of industry codes, quality systems, and manufacturing processes Ability to interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and specifications Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and decision‑making skills Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments Experience with dimensional inspection tools and GD&T fundamentals (CMM, laser tracker, precision metrology) preferred Additional ASNT Level II certifications (UT or RT) preferred Experience in heavy fabrication, machining, or nuclear manufacturing environments preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital inspection or reporting systems Compensation Annual compensation based on skills and experience ranging from $90,000 to $105,000 Benefits Industry‑leading medical, dental, and vision coverage with a generous employer premium contribution and Day 1 eligibility FLEX Program ‑ Hybrid work opportunities available for eligible roles, where business needs and role requirements allow 401(k) retirement plan with up to a 5% company match and immediate vesting to support long‑term financial security Paid time off and 11 paid holidays to support rest, balance, and recharge Wellness program offering rewards for participation in company‑supported health initiatives Commuter benefits supporting mass transit and commuter parking options Company‑paid life and AD&D insurance for added peace of mind Education assistance to support continued education and professional growth Employee support and voluntary benefits, including an Employee Assistance Program and optional coverage such as disability, legal, identity theft, and insurance programs Benefits eligibility and offerings may vary based on role, location, and employment status #J-18808-Ljbffr
