Job Details

• Salary: From $60,000 a year
• Job Type: Full Time
• Location: Hickory, NC 28602

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on the sales floor and perform needs assessments to determine desired vehicle make, type, and features.
• Explain vehicle features and demonstrate operation in the showroom or on the road.
• Research availability of models and optional equipment using the computer database.
• Collaborate with Sales and Finance & Insurance Managers to negotiate sales prices, including tax, trade-in allowance, license fees, discounts, and financing or lease payment terms.
• Inspect and maintain awareness of inventory on the lot.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and arrange vehicle delivery and registration.
• Deliver vehicles and familiarize customers with their new vehicles.
• Participate in required training sessions and department meetings.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, with bilingual skills preferred.
• At least one year of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong sales skills paired with excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Organizational skills with thorough follow-up to maintain client relationships before and after sales.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
