We are seeking to fill an Analyst role within the Residuals department. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Culver City-based team in a high growth stage and have broad responsibilities including contributing to the end-to-end residual process, working with the production and legal teams to gather required documents for the delivery and setup process.

This role requires a self-starter with knowledge of the domestic and foreign unions collective bargaining agreements. This role primarily supports the overall Residual department. This role will interact with the business teams as well as physical productions, so it requires someone with good communication skills (oral and written), ability to understand the importance of details, nuances of residuals, and analytical skills. The role will be tasked with reviewing deliverables schedules, tracking the progress of productions, maintaining trackers, and participating in automation initiatives.

The candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment, and possess the ability to work across several projects simultaneously. This role has regular interaction with multiple teams across Amazon MGM Studios and Prime Video. The candidate must also think and act both strategically and tactically.

Key job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

· Theatrical and Television production deliverables and analysis review

· Talent setup

· Release schedules and production trackers maintenance

· Post 60s and proration analysis

· Analyze and interpret production and distribution agreements for residuals liability

· Ad-hoc requests

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience

• Bachelor's degree

• 3+ years of residuals experience (in lieu of BA/BS degree) in entertainment industry

• Basic understanding of SAG-AFTRA, DGA, WGA, AFM, IATSE agreements

• Basic understanding of PACT/Equity, ACTRA, UBCP, DGC, WGC agreements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing, planning, and managing time

• Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience in technical support

• Can work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects and tasks

• Ability to interpret contracts, distribution agreements, and collective bargaining agreements for residual liability

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
