Special Education Teacher (SPED) – Full-Time Contract Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized educational programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities
- Deliver specialized instruction based on student goals and learning needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
- Monitor student progress and maintain compliance with federal and state special education regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with parents and guardians
- Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to meet diverse learner needs
- Foster an inclusive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment
Qualifications
- Active Alabama Special Education Teaching Certification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
- Experience working with students with disabilities preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
