Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid state certification in Special Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Previous experience working with students in a school-based special education setting
• Strong understanding of IEP development and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication skills with students, families, and colleagues
• Adaptability and resourcefulness in managing diverse classroom environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to address each student’s unique strengths and challenges
• Assess academic, behavioral, and functional levels to guide instructional decisions
• Foster an inclusive, positive classroom culture that encourages growth and learning
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, school staff, and families
• Track and report student progress; maintain accurate records in accordance with policy requirements
• Support students in building essential self-advocacy, social, and life skills
