Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Alabama teaching license/certification in Special Education
• Prior school-based Special Education teaching experience
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with families, staff, and specialists
• Comfortable participating in a Zoom interview

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction to meet diverse learner needs
• Develop and implement IEP goals, accommodations, and modifications for assigned students
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and related service providers
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and strategies for success
• Adhere to all ethical and professional standards for special education practice
