Manufacturing Welding Engineer

The ideal candidate will have experience with robotic MIG welding, manufacturing engineering, and process improvement in a production environment.

 

Responsibilities:

· Design and procure welding fixtures and tooling

· Develop, improve, and document welding processes

· Support robotic MIG welding operations and programming

· Troubleshoot manufacturing and quality issues

· Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs

· Support production and maintenance teams with technical expertise

· Set up equipment and assist with production start-ups

· Work with vendors on equipment and tooling solutions

· Support customer visits and technical discussions when needed

· Assist with continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility

 

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field

· Minimum 2 years of robotic MIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment

· Strong understanding of welding processes, manufacturing methods, and process improvement

· Experience with fixture design and production support

· Ability to troubleshoot production and quality concerns

· Strong communication and problem-solving skills

 

Compensation & Benefits:

· $70,000–$90,000+ annually, depending on experience
