Position: Medical Assistant

Location: Seattle, WA

Shift: Day Shift - 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (7:45 AM - 5:00 PM)

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity. Candidates are expected to join the clinic permanently at the end of the contract period if performance meets expectations. Candidates unwilling or unable to transition to a permanent role will not be considered.

Job Description

We are seeking a certified or registered Medical Assistant (MA-C or MA-R) to work in a procedural-heavy clinic focusing on Urology. Preference is given to candidates with experience in clinics specializing in Urology, Otolaryngology, or Dermatology.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record vital signs for patients.
• Prepare patients for exams by recording history, medications, and allergies.
• Assist with procedures including cystoscopy, prostate biopsy, and bladder scans.
• Set up and maintain sterile fields for procedures.
• Label and collect specimens accurately.
• Room patients and prepare charts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience as a Medical Assistant in an adult/pediatric outpatient clinic.
• Experience in a procedural-heavy clinic is preferred.
• Reliable transportation is required; public transport is not acceptable.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to float to alternate clinic locations as needed.
