Position: Supervisor, Fulfillment

Location: DePew, NY

Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)

Summary

The Supervisor, Fulfillment will lead daily department operations with a strong floor presence to achieve production, quality, safety, and customer service goals. This individual will effectively balance staffing and capacity, communicate priorities across teams, and resolve issues quickly. The role fosters a safety-first, continuous improvement culture while developing and engaging associates to support efficient, customer-focused operations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business Management or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5–7 years of supervisory experience in an automated distribution, warehouse, or manufacturing environment, preferably within a pick/pack operation.
• Experience with computerized Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) required.
• Familiarity with packaging equipment and conveyor systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.

• Meet service-level expectations while ensuring high-quality output.
• Foster a customer-focused environment by anticipating and responding to customer needs.
• Communicate real-time production status, risks, and priorities across departments.
• Align daily production priorities with customer demand and service commitments.
• Utilize operational reports, data, and available resources to make sound business decisions and recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, 5S principles, and employee engagement strategies.
• Promote and maintain a safety-first culture while identifying opportunities to improve ergonomics and workplace safety.
• Self-manage effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
• Quickly address operational challenges including staffing shortages, equipment issues, quality concerns, and material shortages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Lead daily and weekly operational meetings, providing status updates and outlining key priorities.
• Demonstrate strong leadership through coaching, training, recognition, and employee development.
• Establish accountability by setting clear expectations and addressing performance concerns consistently and professionally.
• Participate in projects that support strategic organizational objectives.
• Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and operational advancements.
• Recruit, interview, onboard, train, and develop team members.
• Create, maintain, and update departmental operating procedures.
• Administer company policies and procedures.
