Role summary: The (USA) Director, Marketplace leads our efforts to optimize seller performance and assortment management while driving business growth through data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration within any of the outlined business areas (Electronics, Toys, Seasonal). What you'll do: Lead strategic initiatives to develop and grow the marketplace business, aligning with organizational priorities and market trends. Collaborate cross-functionally to build strong partnerships and drive consensus among multiple stakeholders. Utilize data analytics and customer insights to inform decision-making and optimize marketplace performance. Oversee seller lifecycle management, including onboarding, performance reviews, and issue resolution. Drive business process improvements and innovation to enhance operational efficiency and customer value. Coach and mentor teams to strengthen communication, drive results, and develop their business acumen. Represent the marketplace function in executive discussions, presenting clear, data-driven narratives. What you'll bring: Proven expertise in business communication, including verbal and nonverbal techniques, to influence and build consensus in complex situations. Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration across business units. Demonstrated strategic business acumen, including the ability to analyze market trends, financial data, and competitive landscapes to inform decision-making. Proficiency in leveraging analytics and customer insights to drive marketplace growth and optimize seller performance. Experience in negotiation and stakeholder management to secure beneficial agreements and resolve conflicts effectively.
