Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

$2007.36/week - Job Summary: Provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department, ensuring rapid assessment and treatment of patients with diverse medical needs. Deliver high-quality patient care while adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards. Responsibilities: Assess and prioritize incoming patients based on acuity levels and medical conditions. Administer emergency treatments, medications, and interventions as prescribed. Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in the Meditech system. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans. Maintain a safe and sterile environment, following infection control procedures. Respond efficiently to trauma and stroke situations, adhering to Level IV trauma protocols. Qualifications: Hold an active Texas RN license; temporary licenses are not accepted. Possess a minimum of 2 years of ED experience. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC required. Have experience with Meditech documentation preferred.
