Associate Attorney - Civil Litigation

The civil litigation associate position offers a wide range of litigation opportunities in various phases of litigation for assigned cases, covering all phases of discovery. The associate will appear before state and federal courts, perform legal research, draft pleadings, motions and briefs, conduct depositions, develop facts, make legal arguments, and report case updates to managing attorneys and clients in defense of our clients. The position will develop strategies for litigated matters, including motor vehicle negligence, premises liability, commercial, product liability, personal injury, construction defect, professional liability, and insurance‑coverage matters. Open to NC‑licensed candidates looking to relocate or already located in the WNC region interested in a flexible hybrid position with Asheville as the home base. A small‑office environment in a larger firm offers the best of both worlds.
