Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule and work from the comfort of your home. You will liaise with colleagues and clients primarily through telehealth platforms and secure communication tools. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to ensure trauma-informed care.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions and family counseling, employing therapeutic techniques that are tailored to the unique dynamics of addiction recovery.
\n
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and primary care providers, to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans based on each client's needs.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services when necessary and manage referrals to additional support services, ensuring all clients receive holistic care.
\n
• Maintain rigorous documentation practices in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring client confidentiality and accurate record-keeping for treatment plans and progress notes.

• Engage in ongoing clinical supervision, participate in case conferences, and contribute to staff meetings aimed at enhancing patient care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LCSW at King of Divine Counseling Services, you will primarily serve clients dealing with addiction and overlapping mental health issues. Your role will focus on supporting individuals who may face significant life challenges, including trauma, anxiety, and emotional distress, all exacerbated by substance use disorders. Your expertise will be crucial in helping clients navigate their recovery journeys, promoting empowerment, and ensuring a supportive recovery environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of demonstrable experience in mental health counseling, particularly in settings related to substance use disorder is preferred.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic practices with the ability to implement them effectively in client sessions.

• Strong organizational skills and the capability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment both independently and in collaboration with a team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a detox or substance use treatment center would be highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
